The mission of the Coalition for Healthy Individuals through Prevention & Education otherwise known as HiPE , is to improve the quality of life for youth and families in Region 2000 through educational programming, regional advocacy and prevention to reduce risky behaviors, substance abuse and obesity.

HIPE in the NEWS!

Yesterday, April 19, 2012 the Coaliton, in partnership with Central Virginia Community Services and The City of Lynchburg held a town hall meeting about underage drinking. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to the more than 70 people who participated, including a large group fo students from the boys and girls club!
